Today is my birthday, but I’m feeling a little down because no one has taken a moment to wish me a happy day

Today is Aika’s birthday, a day that should be filled with joy, wagging tails, and plenty of treats. But instead, Aika, a loyal and gentle dog, is feeling a bit low. Despite the special occasion, no one has taken the time to wish her well or celebrate her big day.

Aika sits quietly by the window, her eyes watching the door, hoping someone will come through with a surprise. But the hours pass, and the house remains silent. The usual excitement of a birthday party, the cheerful voices, the sound of wrapping paper being torn open—none of it is happening today. Aika can’t help but feel a bit forgotten.

She thinks back to previous birthdays, where she was showered with love and affection, and how everyone would gather around to sing for her. But today, it seems like the world has moved on, leaving her in the background. The treats that usually overflowed from her bowl are nowhere to be seen, and the toys she would have happily torn into are missing.

Yet, despite her sadness, Aika remains hopeful. She knows that her family loves her, even if they’re busy or distracted today. She curls up in her favorite spot, letting out a soft sigh, and decides to be patient. Maybe, just maybe, they’ll remember before the day ends.

As the evening approaches, Aika hears the familiar sound of the door creaking open. Her heart leaps as her family walks in, carrying a small cake just for her. They gather around, singing the birthday song with smiles on their faces. Aika’s tail begins to wag, and the sadness that weighed on her all day melts away.

Her family hadn’t forgotten after all—they were just preparing a surprise for the end of the day. Aika realizes that even though she felt lonely for a while, the love she shares with her family is what truly matters. The day ends with laughter, playtime, and of course, a slice of that special cake.

Aika’s birthday may have started on a low note, but it ended with the warmth and happiness she had been hoping for all along.
