His only flaw is being a pit bull; the dog was shot and ended up losing both of his right limbs

Pit Bull 50 was created to serve as a helper. His mother was pregnant when a caring family rescued her, and among her litter, Fifty was eventually selected by this family.

The cheerful puppy was enjoying life with his owners and his canine sister, Izzy, when an unforeseen event happened.

Fifty was shot in both of his right limbs by a police officer who was startled upon seeing him. Fifty, a friendly and sociable dog, became a victim of Pit Bull bias.

As a result of the gunshot wounds, the distressed dog had both of his right legs amputated, a devastating event that profoundly changed his life.

As Fifty was just beginning to balance on his two remaining legs, his world was once again upended. This time, Fifty and Izzy’s owners had to surrender them to the shelter after losing their home due to the recession. With the loss of his only stable element, Fifty was left to start anew.

During this difficult and uncertain period, Fifty found his inner strength. He resolved to recover and refused to dwell on his misfortune.

Initially, he used the walls for support before occasionally falling, but through relentless dedication and effort, he eventually regained his ability to run and walk normally.

After nine months of rehabilitation at the shelter, Fifty finally found his forever home.

He instantly bonded with his new family and vowed to be a loving companion to his new siblings and humans every day. He adapted quickly to his new life, which was filled with exciting adventures and cozy snuggle sessions.

Since his new owners often foster dogs in need, Fifty eagerly embraced the role of a supportive foster brother to other less fortunate animals.

Fifty is an extraordinary survivor who holds his head high despite his challenges and the setbacks he has faced.

Let’s celebrate this underdog’s inspiring story and show that Pit Bulls are far more than just a “hated breed.”
