Tommie Bear’s journey began in June 2020 as a stray. Microchipped, he received a six-day hold for his owner to claim him. Luckily, he attracted interest from two potential adopters. However, his initial adopter soon passed him on to another family. Whether Tommie Bear escaped or was surrendered remains unclear, but here he finds himself back at the shelter, his future uncertain.
Unfortunately, after a few months in his new home, Tommie Bear is back at the shelter. The reason for his return remains unclear, but the lack of consistent human interaction has left him emotionally withdrawn. Now, surrounded by the noise and unfamiliar faces of the shelter, Tommie Bear struggles to cope with the uncertainty of his future.
“It saddens and worries me deeply, which is why I believe Tommie needs a rescue organization to oversee his adoption this time. Many potential adopters lack the necessary experience, and Tommie doesn’t deserve to face the risk of being returned again under these circumstances,” expressed a shelter volunteer.”
