After relocating to Los Angeles, Julie Docherty avoided getting a pet due to fear. Instead, she opted to volunteer at a local shelter, where walking dogs demanded significant time. While still adjusting to her new environment, Julie made her initial shelter visit and instantly connected with MoMo, an 11-year-old Chihuahua. This led to her decision to adopt him!

After discovering that the canine had many elderly pets, she chose to adopt three larger chihuahuas. Julie’s four Chihuahuas—Benito, MoMo, Choli, and Paloma—are delightful, despite the fact that none of them have any teeth!

The four dogs operate as a senior dog club, engaging in all activities as a cohesive unit. This adorable Chihuahua group is enjoying their golden years in regal fashion, whether sunbathing or napping together!

Julie started adopting elderly puppies to offer them a caring home for their golden years. What a kind-hearted person she is!
