Family of mother dog and 7 puppies abandoned in nearly 100 degree heat

In Cleveland, Texas, there is an urgent need for a reputable rescue group and financial support to assist two families of abandoned German shepherds. These dogs are suffering from severe mange, and the relentless heat, exceeding 100 degrees, makes their delicate bodies feel like they are on fire.

Local volunteer Zully Vasquez Ventura has been tirelessly working to provide aid to these families. The heartbreaking photos reveal the depth of their suffering.

“I can’t bring myself to leave them out there, hoping they’ll somehow survive,” Zully shares.

The constant crying of the puppies is unbearable, a result of both the painful mange and the extreme heat.

“At least in shelters, dogs are put to sleep. These poor animals are trapped in a daily nightmare, enduring the same misery over and over again.”

These are the dogs that have been left behind, and the mother dogs are heartbroken with no one to rescue them. They are doing their best to care for their puppies, but they are overwhelmed and struggling. Moved by compassion, Zully Vasquez Ventura has taken it upon herself to bring food and water to these abandoned dogs. However, despite her efforts, it’s simply not enough.

Several foster families have come forward to offer assistance, but these dogs and their puppies urgently need the care and oversight of an approved rescue organization to ensure their safety and recovery.

This is a heartbreaking situation that needs immediate attention. Please share their story far and wide. Any help makes a difference—whether fostering, donating mange treatments, or providing essential supplies. There are seven puppies and three adult dogs from two different families who are depending on the kindness of others. They desperately need your support.
