Despite something seeming a little off, Barclay the dog and Rudy the duck have stayed close friends throughout the years. Living together in Orange County, California, this unlikely pair of animals is inseparable, never straying far from one another.
Though they’re from different species, their bond is undeniable.
According to Ms. Pam Ishiguro, whenever Barclay and Rudy are together, they’re always running, jumping, and playing. But if they lose sight of each other, they immediately start calling out, searching for their friend.
It’s amusing that Barclay the dog has some quirky habits. He enjoys eating duck food and drinking bath water. So, whenever no one’s watching, Barclay sneaks a bite of Rudy’s food and even sniffs his best friend’s butt.
Like any friendship, theirs isn’t without its occasional misunderstandings. Barclay and Rudy are no exception. There are moments when things get a little tense, where the “rice isn’t quite right, and the soup isn’t sweet.” In these situations, it’s usually Rudy stirring up the trouble, often chasing Barclay away.
Despite it all, these two best friends always find their way back to each other.
