Earlier today, a Good Samaritan driving down a busy highway in Fort Worth noticed something that just didn’t feel right. A car pulled off to the side, and the driver hastily dumped a box before speeding off. Curious and concerned, the man slowed down. That’s when he saw it—a tiny puppy’s head peeking through a crack in the box. His heart sank.
Trusting his instincts, he quickly turned around. When he reached the box and tore away the duct tape, his worst fears were confirmed. Inside, there were 8 terrified puppies crammed together, left to fend for themselves on the side of a bustling highway. Their fate could have been tragic if not for this man’s intervention.
It’s shocking, and it makes us sick to our stomachs to think of what might have happened. The scorching sun, passing cars, or worse—they were abandoned without a chance to survive. But thanks to this Good Samaritan, these puppies are now safe.
As we welcome these tiny survivors, we urgently need your help. The puppies are in dire need of medical attention: deworming, flea and tick treatments, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and ongoing care. They’ll also need foster homes to recover and regain their health before they’re ready for adoption.
