However, hope was restored when Deputy Perez of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a stray dog found wandering in a nearby neighborhood.
Upon discovering the dog’s location, Deputy Perez quickly rushed to the scene where the stray was found. He immediately noticed that this dog resembled one from a missing poster he had seen earlier. Acting on this suspicion, he contacted the family to confirm whether it was their lost pet, hoping to reunite them soon. Once it was confirmed that the dog was indeed Max, the family was overwhelmed with joy when he was safely returned to them. Although no one knows how Max survived during his time as a stray, the most important thing is that he made it back home.
