Today was supposed to be a day of celebration for Sun, a cheerful little dog with bright eyes and a wagging tail. It was his birthday, and his owner Marie had planned a day filled with fun and joy. The morning started off perfectly, with Sun prancing around the house, excited by the attention and the special treats Marie had prepared for him.
But as the day went on, something unexpected happened that turned the joy into sorrow. While they were out for a walk in the park, Sun, in his playful excitement, dashed across the street without noticing a car coming his way. Before Marie could react, there was a loud thud – Sun had been hit by the car.
Marie’s heart sank as she rushed to Sun, who was lying on the ground, whimpering in pain. Without wasting a moment, she scooped him up in her arms and hurried to the nearest animal hospital. Sun’s usually bright eyes were now filled with tears, and his little body trembled with pain.
At the hospital, the vet quickly attended to Sun, carefully examining him before bandaging his injured leg. Sun cried softly, the pain evident in his eyes as he looked up at Marie, who stayed by his side, her own eyes welling up with tears.
Marie gently stroked Sun’s head, whispering soothing words to comfort him. It was heartbreaking to see her beloved dog in such pain, especially on what was meant to be a happy day. As Sun lay there, exhausted and hurting, Marie promised herself that she would do everything she could to help him heal.
It wasn’t the birthday Marie had planned for Sun, but what mattered most was that he was safe and getting the care he needed. Sun’s birthday may have been marked by an unfortunate accident, but Marie knew that with time, he would recover and be back to his playful self.
