Your donations are significantly improving the lives of animals rescued from the war zone in Ukraine.

Military members are tirelessly rescuing innocent dogs and cats left behind near the frontlines, ensuring they reach safe havens like Patron Pet Center where they receive the essential care they need. Animals arriving at the center often require immediate medical attention and a quiet place to rest, and the compassionate staff welcomes them into the state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for their needs.

In the Luhansk region, several dogs, including seniors, were found abandoned in destroyed homes. They were starving, scared, and one was still chained, unable to escape the dangerous area. The military members freed these dogs and brought them to Patron Pet Center, where they are now receiving the care and love they need and deserve. Once they are neutered and fully recovered, they will be placed in loving new homes.

The center has also taken in several sick cats who are now finally receiving the care they need to survive. Marko arrived suffering from feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) and was refusing to eat, but with proper medication, he is now starting to eat and slowly improving. In addition to Marko, several other felines arrived from the war zone with various viral and fungal infections. Although some did not survive, cats like Liam and Strchatella are pulling through but still face a long recovery journey. The dedicated staff at the center are ensuring they regain their health and comfort.

Your continued support has been crucial in saving these innocent animals and providing a safe space for those rescued from the war.

But that’s not all…

Thanks to your generous donations, Patron Pet Center is expanding their shelter to save even more abandoned animals. The staff shared, “Thanks to the grant we received, we have launched the construction of a quarantine block with 65 individual boxes, 2 large, isolated hospitals for cats with FIV, and a common room for a healthy herd of over 100 cats. This will give more than 300 cats from combat zones in Ukraine a chance to survive and be placed in loving families.”

Together, we CAN make a difference. Donate below to help continue the expansion of the center and save more lives.
