The current owner, 22-year-old student Cory Gonzales from Lubbock, Texas, stated that when she purchased the dog, it was in poor condition due to neglect and the previous owners’ refusal to sell it.
By the time the animal rights organization finally succeeded, Puddin’s eyes were completely gone, as the lawsuit was filed later than expected.
The SPCA brought Puddin to the clinic after discovering a severe eye infection, and the veterinarian warned that the condition could result in blindness.
