Sad birthday of the white cat

Once upon a time, in a quiet little town, there lived a small, white cat. He had no home and wandered the streets, looking for food and a warm place to sleep. People would sometimes give him a pat on the head or a small piece of food, but no one really knew his name.

The little white cat was very lonely. He dreamed of having a home, a family, and lots of friends. He especially loved birthdays. He’d watch the other cats in the neighborhood play and have parties on their special days. They’d get lots of presents and hear happy songs. But the little white cat never had a birthday party.

One day, it was the little white cat’s birthday. He wandered the streets, hoping someone would remember. He looked into people’s windows, hoping to see a party for him. But there was nothing. Feeling sad and alone, he curled up in a corner and cried.

Just when he thought no one cared, a little girl came walking by. She saw the little white cat and felt sorry for him. She knelt down and gently petted him. “Hello, kitty,” she said softly. “Are you okay?”

The little white cat looked up at her with big, sad eyes. The girl knew right away that something was wrong. She took out a small piece of fish she had been saving and offered it to the cat. The little white cat ate the fish slowly, feeling a little better.

The girl decided to take the little white cat home with her. She named him Snowball and gave him a warm bed, lots of food, and plenty of love. Snowball finally had a home and a family. And from then on, he celebrated his birthday every year with his new friends.
