Garfield’s tale begins in an abandoned house in Florida, where he was left alone with neither food nor water. It was a desolate situation until Paul Tateosian and another inspector arrived to assess the property. Amidst their inspection, they encountered Garfield, who, despite his grim appearance, eagerly approached them for attention.
Hungry and meowing, Garfield’s plight was evident. The inspectors initially offered him some mango they found outside, but it soon became clear that Garfield needed more than just a quick snack. Recognizing the cat’s dire situation, they decided to adopt him, give him a fitting name—Garfield—and take him to a better place.
For Garfield, being rescued was a significant relief. Yet, his ever-serious expression failed to convey the true extent of his happiness. The grumpy exterior might suggest otherwise, but inside, Garfield’s heart was undoubtedly rejoicing.
