That was the text message the owner sent before abandoning the puppy. The lonely puppy lies by the rock, but her eyes are fixed on the path’s end, waiting for her owner who abandoned her and won’t come back to fetch her.
Hope For Pets was alerted by a neighbor who found the abandoned puppy but was too fearful of dogs to approach. The puppy had been left there since early morning.
The rescue team interviewed numerous locals, but none had any information about her. A stranger had left her chained to a stone, then fled home out of fear of being pursued.
The puppy is in good health, but her body odor indicates she needs a bath.
