She wanted to do something special for her ailing companion, ensuring that Libra knew how much she was cherished and appreciated until the very end.
Libra always had a fondness for car rides, so on her last trip to the vet, April decided to roll down the window and let Libra enjoy her favorite pastime. For the next thirty minutes, despite her illness, Libra appeared content, closing her eyes intermittently to soak in the breeze and the sights passing by.
