Luna, a seven-month-old Boxer puppy from Fort Worth, Texas, has spent almost half her life at the Chuck Silcox Animal Care & Control Center. Her owner had to surrender her to the shelter on January 26, 2023, due to health issues.
She has been at the shelter for nearly three months, which is half of her life. She often lies curled up on her cot, appearing sad and forlorn.
Luna is a 42-pound Boxer mix who has lived with other dogs, cats, and children, as noted in her surrender paperwork. She is crate-trained and knows commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “down.”
This lovable puppy enjoys having fun, is physically fit, and loves getting her back scratched. She’s quite active and, according to shelter staff, would do best in a home without small children.
Luna is available for adoption, rescue, or care at the Fort Worth Animal Care & Control Center, located at 4900 Martin Street, Fort Worth, Texas. For inquiries, call 817-392-1234 and mention reference number #0051951821 in your message.
